The Ford Mustang has become less dangerous!
When tested by Euro NCAP earlier this year it received just two stars to the consternation of its makers who realised they had to try quite a bit harder to ensure amongst other things that the airbags inflated properly and seat belt pre tensioners actually pre tensioned.
Following modifications it has been retested and has achieved....three stars.
It’s a start I suppose.
Meanwhile the Seat Ibiza and Alfa Stelvio managed five stars.

Safer for the passengers, at least. It’s a start. Now they need to put airbags on the front bumper.
